Fractional Laser Resurfacing

CO2 Laser can be used as a resurfacing mode (deep penetration through the skin) and Fractionated Laser that causes the optimum balance between minimal downtime and maximum results.

The new generation of CO2 Laser can address a broad spectrum of different skin conditions, colour and beauty concerns such as: wrinkles, surgical and acne scars, sun damaged skin, stretch marks, age spots, coarse pores, pigmentation, etc.

The science behind the Fractional CO2 laser is that the laser creates tunnels of microscopic thermal injuries in the skin (epidermis and dermis). The micro injuries are scattered across the skin’s surface with gaps of normal tissue left in between. The result is that collagen fibres are able to remodel themself and the new collagen production is increased, the skin is refreshed and looks younger.

The technology is giving our patients not only good improvement of the skin but also less post- procedure discomfort with mild redness and swelling for only 2 – 3 days, and the healing is faster.

Flexibility of this laser is giving us the option to treat a variety of skin conditions and concerns. We can adjust the laser power, width and density of laser beam and as well many spot sizes while giving us different depths of penetration below the skins surface and different number of spot injuries in a specific area per cm².

Following the treatment, depending on the laser power and density, we can see the skin re- epithelisation in five to seven days and some remnants of redness for a few days more. Our goal is to achieve maximum results with minimal downtime.
