P’Shots to Improve Men’s Sexual Performance
Rejuvenation of Men’s Sexual Performance
When we get older, our tissue starts to become looser and our veins and arteries (which are responsible for erection) become narrower and less sensitive to stimulation. This can lead to erectile dysfunction like: soft and short lasting erection or no erection at all, with weak orgasm and inability to control ejaculation or premature ejaculation, lower urinary tract symptoms like: tendency to urinary incontinence, urgency causing wet underwear. One of the methods to improve the firmness of your penis and to treat erectile dysfunction is PRP.
Frequently asked questions
What is PRP?
PRP (Platelets Rich Plasma) from the patient’s own blood platelets and stem cells are separated by centrifuge and injected into the cavernous body of the penis.
Your own blood is taken from your own veins in special tubes. The blood is then placed into a centrifuge in order to separate platelets and stem cells which are injected using very tiny needles into the shaft (the cavernous body) of the penis, using approximately 2 to 4 injections.
How does it Work?
The platelets and stem cells contain growth factors and cytokines released to initiate the tissue regeneration process by stimulation of new collagen fibres, induction scaffolding of internal lining inside of the veins and small arteries of the penis and stimulation of formation of new blood vessels and tissue. It is a cascade of anti-ageing activity. The plasma itself contains many factors that are essential for rejuvenation like: vitamins, hormones, electrolytes, proteins and nutrients.
The treatment is designed for patients with signs of ageing like: empty tissues with tendency to soft and short lasting erection or no erection at all, with weak orgasm and inability to control ejaculation or premature ejaculation (erectile dysfunction).
Does it hurt?
Numbing cream is applied for about 30 minutes to the area that is to be treated and the treatment is basically painless.
How long does it take?
We have to apply numbing cream for 30 minutes and the injections take only a few seconds.
How many sessions are necessary?
Between two and four sessions per year. Usually, you will see or feel improvement within a few days following the first session. The tissue will be firmer with better tone and texture. The erection will be firmer and longer lasting and ejaculation will be better to control.
How long do the benefits last?
If you choose to continue with follow-up sessions every 2 – 3 months, the improvement will be more stable and longer lasting.
What should I avoid before the treatment?
You should avoid Aspirin, Vitamin E, Fish Oil, Nurofen, Gingko Biloba, Chinese and herbal medicine for 3 – 4 days before treatment. This is just to protect you against the remote risk of bruising.
What could the complications be?
Occasionally minor bruising can occur for one or two days. All the components of the plasma are your own and for this reason, any immunological reactions or contamination with transmissible diseases are eliminated.
How much does it cost?
The cost of each treatment will depend on the number of tubes used during one session and is $500.00 per tube. Usually, 1 tube will be enough.
Do we have any other methods to improve erectile dysfunction?
Obviously, we have many methods: staying fit with regular exercise and a good diet, controlling your weight, not smoking cigarettes and drinking alcohol in moderation (no more than 2 drinks per day for women and 3 to 4 drinks per day for men) with at least one day per week without alcohol. Also we have tablets for erectile dysfunction like Viagra. However, tablets can cause many side effects like: heartburn, long lasting headaches, face blushing, etc.
Is it possible to have the PRP treatment for women?
