We can provide you with information for medical

It is always best to make an appointment. The cost is generally $80.00 or $100.00 with a Medicare rebate. Occasionally Dr Roberts can see patients and bulk-bill on Medicare for specific procedures only.

You have to ask your private health fund provider as this can change annually.

It is best to bring your Medicare card with you for your appointments because you may be able to receive a rebate.

Some specific procedures can receive a rebate or partial rebate on Medicare. Please ask Dr Roberts about rebates during the initial consultation.

This procedure generally takes about 30-60 minutes, and can cost about

The most common cyst in this area is lipoma and to remove the cyst you need around one hour. The cost is about $1000.00 with a partial rebate on Medicare.

If you develop keloid scars on your bellybutton, you must remove the piercing. The treatment usually requires 5 - 8 sessions of specific injections every few weeks. Each session can cost $100.00 - $150.00, depending on the size of the scar.

Yes, you can use Cosmelan on darker skin tones, but maybe not every night depending on your reaction. You will be advised of all the details during the consultation. Sometimes you may need to mix the Cosmelan with other creams.

The usual waiting period is a few weeks for the operation. You need to come in for a consultation with Dr Roberts to see photos of previous patients and discuss details about the procedure and recovery associated with the procedure.

Yes, you must get a script for the cream from Dr Roberts and apply the cream for four weeks prior to the procedure.

Yes, we can use injections of PRP on any part of the body including the scalp and genital area. However the main area of treatment is the face.

Cosmetic Injections for hyperhidrosis are the best option for excessive sweating on palms, underarms or feet. However we have to use specific methods to numb the area which requires treatment for the procedure.

The procedure takes approximately 1 hour; however you have to apply numbing cream 1 hour prior to the procedure. After the initial consultation, the waiting period is only a few days.

The MACS lift is very similar to the S-lift and takes about 3-4 hours to perform. The price is approximately $7000 for this procedure.

No the procedure is not permanent, but can last between 4 to 12 months, depending on which material is used. The cost is between $550 to $1000, depending on the material and amount injected,

Fractional Laser

Yes you can have fractional laser treatment for these areas depending on the type of stretch marks you have. It is best to arrange a consultation with Dr Roberts so he can assess the situation and provide you with treatment options.

It is possible to help treat stretch marks in the chest and upper breast area. There are a few different forms of treatments available – including fractional laser, chemical peeling and using a combination of creams. We recommend coming in for a consultation with Dr Roberts to discuss which treatment(s) would work best for you, as well as to show before and after photos of our previous patients.

There is a 1 – 2% chance of bruising and patients will experience redness and swelling for 2 – 3 days.

The cost depends on how big the area is to be treated; however it usually ranges from $300.00 to $1500.00

G-Shots

G-Spot Injections is advised if you know the location of your G-spot, then Dr Roberts is able to make an injection at that location. The preparation and injection is similar to that of a pap smear. The cost depends on which filler is used. Dr Roberts recommends using 1ml of Hyaluronic acid the first time, which costs $600. Usually the procedure is needed twice/three times a year, depending on the individual.

This means that a numbing cream will be applied prior to the procedure. Once the numbing cream takes effect (usually after half an hour) you will receive the injection. In total, this will take less than 1 hour. 

It is recommended that patients delay sexual activity for 24 – 48 hours following the procedure.

There is a 1 – 2% chance of bruising

High Intensity Focussed Ultrasound (HIFU)

HIFU is a non-surgical procedure that takes one hour to perform on the face.

We have a few methods available for stretch mark removal such as Laser, HIFU (High Intensity Focussed Ultrasound), peelings and creams. It is best you come in for a consultation to have an assessment and see what the best method is for you as the method depends on the type of stretch mark.

HIFU is a non-surgical procedure and there are no injections or downtime involved. It is painless.

Laser Treatment for Scars, Pigmentation, Skin Blemishes

Yes, a laser treatment would be the recommended method to remove the freckle.

Pigmentation usually requires Laser, however it is always best to come in and have a consultation with Dr. Roberts to discuss all treatments available to you. Laser costs usually start at around $350.00 and increase depending on the size of the area. You also have a chance to receive a partial Medicare rebate of around $140.00.
Regarding scar removal and improvement, there are several options to remove scars. This could be through injections, laser or excision. You would need to have the scar assessed before we can advise you of the best method of removal.

For facial capillaries we always use two or three lasers in one session. They are IPL, N-Y and/or LLL.

There are a few options:

  • Photo Rejuvenation, also known as IPL, is used to treat capillaries, small veins, redness, freckles, sunspots, stretch marks, open pores, in-grown hairs and red scars by the stimulation of collagen production, reduction of redness and, elimination of blemishes. The treatment session is around 15 – 30 minutes and three to six sessions are usually required for complete results. The cost is $350.00 per session and rebate on Medicate is about $140.
  • Laser resurfacing (LRS), or Laser Peeling, helps clear scarring, pigmentation, wrinkles and sun damage by removal of old outer skin to expose new skin. The results are long-lasting and such treatment is available for the mouth or eyes or forehead at a cost of $1000.00 to $2000.00. This variation in cost will depend on how big the area is and how long it takes. Full face laser resurfacing is between $4500.00 to $5500.00.

IPL laser treatment is one of the options for treating sunspots and pigmentation.

For broken capillaries, Dr Roberts combines two different lasers in each session – both the N/Y Laser and IPL. Treatment of broken capillaries may require several sessions to achieve the best result.

Skin blemishes and pigmentation can be treated with different methods depending on the individual. Sometimes treating this with only creams is successful and other times a combined approach (implementing IPL, Laser Resurfacing or skin peels) is best. As maintenance, we can also use creams, Cosmelan is one of them.

Mesotherapy

There are many forms of Mesotherapy and our Mesotherapy does not contain any form of muscle relaxants. For a more precise answer as to whether Mesotherapy is suitable for you, please email us photos of the area you wish to treat. Alternatively, to discuss all options and to assess your skin type and skin texture in more detail, arrange for a consultation to see Dr. Roberts.

The cost of Mesotherapy varies depending on the size of the area being treated; however, it is generally $100.00 - $250.00 per session. Usually multiple sessions are required, taking place once or twice per month.

There are many different types of cellulite, and Mesotherapy is only suitable for a specific type of cellulite. To best assess the condition and to advise the best course of action it is best to arrange a consultation with Dr Roberts.

We have many methods to help you; however, it is important to assess your skin, muscles and type of fatty tissue. It is best to come in for a consultation with Dr Roberts to advise the best course of action for you.

The results will vary depending on your body type, as well as the condition being treated. Generally, patients start to notice visible improvement in 2 to 3 sessions. 

No, Mesotherapy is not painful. Some patients can experience a light tingling sensation when the injections are administered and for very sensitive patients, we can apply numbing Emla cream 30 minutes before the treatment and/or ice packs which will make the treatment virtually painless.

The results will last, especially if you continue with follow up sessions every 2 to 6 months, and combine those sessions with exercise and proper nutrition. Regular maintenance sessions are needed as we cannot stop the natural aging that affects your appearance.

O-Shots

We do use a numbing cream to numb the area. It’s a quick procedure is fairly painless

The O Shot procedure from start to finish, should not take more than an hour. Most of that time is patient preparation and the time that the centrifuge is being used to process the blood and extract the platelets. The injections only take around one to three minutes.

Patients may experience some bruising however this is very unlikely.

The cost is $400.00 per tube however we will usually only use one or two tubes.

PRP

Yes, we can administer PRP into the scalp for balding treatment. It is best to come in for a consultation with Dr Roberts to assess the stage of your balding and to explain how the procedure is performed.

The cost of PRP depends on the size of the area you wish to have treated. Usually, we will use only one or two tubes and the cost is $400.00 per tube. Sometimes, we may have to repeat the session every few weeks or months if necessary.

We have to apply an ice pack for several seconds and the feeling is like a pin-prick sensation.

Sometimes some patients will experience very mild bruising.

P-Shots

There is no age restriction. We have performed this procedure on men as young as their 20’s and men well into their 70’s.

The procedure should not take more than an hour. Most of that time is waiting for the blood to process and patient waiting with numbing cream on the skin. The procedure itself is quick and relatively painless; patients walk right out after the procedure with no problem.

Some men report an increase in length of the penis after the procedure. Almost all men have some increase in girth, and these increases are due to the new tissue that is actually growing.

There is a 1% chance of bruising.

The cost of P-Shots is $400.00 per vial.

If it suits you, we can repeat the procedure every 2 – 3 months.

Rosacea

Rosacea is a complex issue and requires a more precise discussion about possible causes and different methods of treatment which will be suitable for you. Depending on how advanced the rosacea is, it is best to arrange a consultation with Dr Roberts regarding treatment options.

It is always the best idea to come in for a consultation to see Dr. Roberts so he can advise on the best treatment which will be suitable to you. A common treatment for rosacea is to use lasers.. Sometimes this treatment will also need to be combined with creams, tablets and a muscle relaxant however Dr. Roberts can discuss this with you during a consultation.

There are several different treatments available for Rosacea, including creams, laser therapy and medications. It would be best to come in for a consultation with Dr Roberts so that he can assess the condition more precisely.

Skin Mole Removal

There are many types of moles so it is impossible to give you proper advice without seeing your skin. Sometimes it is better to use laser, sometimes to cut it off, sometimes a biopsy may be required and other times it is best not to touch it at all. We advise to arrange a consultation with Dr. Roberts to go through the details, to assess your moles and to give you the best advice on treatment.

The approach to mole removal depends on the size, shape and depth of the mole. Sometimes moles may require biopsy or excision. The cost of the treatment generally ranges from $350.00 -$550.00. We recommend arranging an appointment with Dr Roberts to assess your mole/s

There are many types of cysts. Some of them are easy to remove, however some require more complicated excision. To give you the best advice regarding treatment and the cost involved it is important for Dr Roberts to assess the type of cyst and its position. The best thing to do is to arrange a face-to-face consultation with Dr Roberts so that he can assess the cyst and go through the different treatment options.
